Natasha Tynes (born in 1977) is a Jordanian-American Author, Social Media Strategist, Writer, Journalist, Media Personality, and Communication Officer from Amman, Jordan. She recently became the topic of serious controversy on social media after her tweet went viral on the internet.
Furthermore, the 42-year-old author reported an Afro-American transit worker for eating on a train in Washington D.C. on Twitter. But her criticism backfired on her as Natasha received a lot of hate for being racist.

The incident took place on May 10, 2019. Tynes posted a tweet around 9 a.m. and stated that wmata employee in UNIFORM eating on the train. In fact, the author attached the picture of black woman employee along with tagging Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority account.
As a result, the authorities asked her about the time, the direction, and what line she was on. However, things went wrong when people started bashing her for her tweet. Someone wrote that this incident is the best example of why we all require to have an intersectional approach to racism.
Moreover, a user also tweeted that Natasha should pen a novel about what occurred when she didn’t mind her business and also called her snitch. Many other tweets flooded on social media by tagging her.
Later, the author deleted her tweet and also issued an apology. But nothing went right and she deactivated all of her accounts. In fact, Tynes also put down her official website. The woman whose picture went viral on the internet stated that she left embarrassed and hurt.
The employee also claimed that because of this incident she was not able to celebrate Mother’s Day with her children. Her union representative claimed that she would have usually eaten her breakfast at the next stop.
But then it was rush hour and the train was also late. She did not want to keep clients at her next assignment waiting. Therefore, she decided to have breakfast on the train. Also, the Metro employee will not be facing disciplinary action for eating on the train.
